We made it to Pensacola Beach yesterday … it was a pretty uneventful trip from Montgomery to the beach although now RV trip for Hope and I would be complete without some excitement.
About 10 miles from our destination an alarm suddenly came on … and light on the dash of the RV indicating the leveling jacks were down … WHAT!
Hope and I were both waiting for the sound of metal on asphalt as I looked down the road for somewhere to pull off.
Hope was trying to call the kids to tell them to go on and we would catch up … too late they followed us as we pulled off onto a side road.
After a few mins of looking things over we realized it was a false alarm … but WOW … does that get your heart going.
Back on the road and we were safely at the beach … enjoying the view and having a cold drink.
