Yesterday was filled with sunshine and relaxation. Robin Taylor stopped by Joe Paddies to pick up seafood for dinner before heading over to see us. Well actually it is not stopping by any more … it is way out of the way … with the bridge to the island being out it is almost a 1 hour drive for her from town.
Lots of visiting and lots of hugs and we all settled in for a nice afternoon on the beach. I introduced Robin to our ebikes and she and I road around for a while and then ended up at the Elks Lodge. The Elks lodge here is excellent. The best location ever, right on the back bay and it has a second floor back porch with a wonderful view.
Back to the camp site and Hope and Marc and Susie and Chris and Teri were cooking up the fresh fish. Flounder, grouper, scallops and all the trimmings. Once again a better meal could not have been had anywhere.
A couple of folks were walking by and stopped to chat. The kids are good about attracting attention and we generally have a crowd before the evening is over.
The sun and the fun took its toll and Hope and I were soon ready to return to return to our bus to relax. Robin decided to stay the night and Hope made her bed and the girls settled in for a Hallmark movie. It was over quickly and we all headed for night-night.
